Overview
Qin is a Lecturer in Supply Chain Dynamics at the Cardiff Business School of the Cardiff University, where he earned his PhD. His main research interests focus on supply chain and forecasting.
He has experiences of delivering teaching, workshop and training to undergraduates, postgraduates and executive audiences. He has received the recognition from Chinese government for outstanding non-government sponsored students abroad in 2014.
Before his academic career, he worked in multi-nationals for six years involving production, logistics, customer relationship, procurement, and MIS.

At Cardiff University, Qin is responsible for the core course 'Operations Management' at the postgraduate level. He also partly teaches 'Operations Management' (undergraduate) and 'Research Skills and Methods' (postgraduate). In addition, Qin is supervising MSc dissertations, Live Business Projects, and MBA business projects. Previously, he has teached 'Logistics Modelling', 'Lean Operation' and 'Operations Analysis' at various levels.
