Overview
Dr Tong Zhang is currently working as a research associate in the School of Engineering. She received a B.Eng. degree in Electric Engineering and its Automation from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2016, and a Ph.D. degree in Power System and its Automation from South China University of Technology, in 2021. She was once a visiting Ph.D. student in Technical University of Denmark from 2019 to 2020. Her main research interests include the modelling and optimisation of integrated energy systems, and system integration of renewable energy (hydrogen and tidal range energy).
