Charlie Balcombe

Overview

I'm Charlie.

I've been working at Cardiff University since 2018, and have subsequently worked in several schools (SOCSI, COMSC, BIOSI, OPTOM, HCARE, and PHRMY) in a number of HR focused roles. Prior to working here, I studied an UG degree in Business Management and MSc In Human Resource Management, both at Cardiff Business School.

I'm currently based within the School of Computer Science & Informatics as the Deputy School Manager, providing operational management to the school alongside the School Manager and Head of School.

I have a keen interest in HR, enhancing staff experience and process automation / development.
