I have a background in Health Psychology and my research interests focus on developing interventions, the patient pathway, adherence to cancer treatment, long-term conditions, development of health-related information to aid decision-making, and behaviour change.
I am experienced in using qualitative and quantitative methods in research.

I have previously worked as an Hourly paid lecturer teaching psychology and health psychology to psychology students and chiropractic students.
I have co-supervised an intercalating medical student to complete her project.
I will be facilitating sessions for writing and presenting abstracts to nurse and allied health professionals at Velindre Cancer Centre.
I am working on a project in the area of nurse understanding and confidence to educate patients and carers pre-cancer treatment. I have conducted review work on risk perceptions of chemotherapy by nurses and investigating carer support for patient treatment adherence in non-surgical cancer treatment and have been supporting nurse projects that include environmental contamination in the administration of chemotherapy.
I have previously worked in the development of a decision aid to support decisions to take aspirin for the prevention of bowel cancer in a screening eligible population and patient experience and quality of life in the management of complex polyps. Also, palliative care and end-of-life care and development of community pharmacy standards.
I also contribute to research for developing awareness and aiming to improve wellbeing of people with Pernicious Anaemia, with the Pernicious Anaemia Society.
