Overview

Dr Antonios Kallias is a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Cardiff Business School. He is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and the Undergraduate Admissions Tutor in his section.

Antonios earned his PhD from the University of Sussex and his research interests span across financial reporting, corporate disclosure and corporate governance.

His work has been published in world leading and internationally excellent journals (such as the Journal of Corporate FinanceJournal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business Research and the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting) and his research has attracted funding from the British Academy and the Leverhulme Trust. Also, Antonios's work has attracted media coverage and it is featured on Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.

Further, he has  accumulated important teaching experience in the areas of financial management, financial analysis and research methods. Currently, he is teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

Antonios has supervised doctoral students to successful completion in the past and welcomes applications from potential PhD candidates in the related areas of accounting and finance.
