Overview
I am a psychiatry trainee in the Wales Clinical Academic Track (WCAT) scheme. I am currently undertaking a PhD supported by a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellowship. My PhD project is focused on understanding how genetic risk factors for psychiatric disorders affect brain structure and function. In particular, I am studying the effects of copy number variants (CNVs) using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG). My project is supervised by Professor Sir Michael Owen, Professor Marianne van den Bree, Professor David Linden and Professor Krish Singh.
