In addition to my role on the training programme, I work as an Educational Psychologist for Somerset Council, where I support a number of mainstream primary and secondary schools; in addition to Alternative Provision for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Biography

Employment

Prior to training as an Educational Psychologist in 2007-2010, I worked with a Pupil Referral Unit in London as a Teaching Assistant. During this time, I also worked with the Youth Offending Service and as an Assistant Educational Psychologist on a mental health project within Primary Schools.

Professional interests

My interests are primarily focused around well-being, youth justice, and diversity. I am curious about the aspects of Educational Psychology practice which effect change and am keen on making theoretical and academic research applicable within the professional workplace.
