Dr Popov teaches BS 2550, Microeconomic Theory. It covers the concept of general equilibrium, it's connection to efficiency of market outcomes, and why markets fail. The course connects to a number of 3rd year courses, which is why it is mandatory for Economists.
Supervision
I am interested in supervising PhD students in all areas, particularly in applied economic theory, with application to public economics, education, or healthcare.
