Overview

I am interested in human parasitic diseases and coinfections, with a focus on malaria and schistosome infection. My research will aim to examine the impact of parasitic coinfections on host health and parasite fitness, using both fieldwork data and mathematical modelling techniques.

My background is as a medical doctor, primarily working in Intensive Care but with an interest in infectious and tropical diseases. I completed the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 2018 and began my PhD studies in 2020.
