Overview
I am a third year PhD student in the School of English, Communication and Philosophy .I got my MA in linguistics from Bangor University in 2016.In my current project, I am studying the correlation among some affective language learning variables and how they influence students' achievement and behaviour.

My research interests lay in applied linguistics and bilingualism. In particular, foreign language learning.

Analysing Affective Factors in Relation to Students' Achievement and Behaviour in EFL in Saudi Arabia
The study examines the correlation of several affective language learning factors (attitudes, motivation ,and axiety) in the process of learning English as a foreign language (EFL) ,and the relation of each of these variables to secondary school students's level of achievements and behaviour in the Saudi context. A mixed methods approach is selected to conduct this study using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.
