The PSRAS deals with the accreditation of representatives who advise suspects at the police station. Most firms of solicitors who undertake criminal legal aid work use accredited representatives to advise and assist clients.

There are three assessment elements under the scheme, which must all be successfully completed:

We offer several training courses and packages to assist you in gaining accreditation as a Police Station Representative. All our courses are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as qualifying for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

There are two routes to complete the PSRAS, depending on whether you are exempt from the written examination:
