Postgraduate standalone modules in Genomic medicine

An exciting opportunity for NHS staff to study standalone postgraduate modules in genomic medicine, funded by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW).

Genomic medicine is revolutionising the fields of oncology, pharmacy, rare disorders, mental health and infectious diseases. Research continues at a rapid pace to develop our understanding of the relationship between our genes and our health. It increasingly informs the health care we provide for our patients and is more likely to feature in the dialogue we have with them.

A series of accredited and accessible standalone modules is now available to all NHS Wales staff. Modules will be delivered in partnership with the All Wales Medical Genomics Service (AWMGS), Wales Gene Park (WGP) and NHS Wales.
