This summer we’re offering intensive language courses in French, Italian, Spanish and Ukrainian. A range of levels are available from beginners to more advanced.

Courses will run over one or two weeks during June and July and will be intensive and enjoyable. Our language conversation courses will be taught in-person by expert native-speaking tutors. Ukrainian courses will be delivered online. Expect rapid language learning in an encouraging and interactive class.

To celebrate, we are launching a competition where you can win a free course. To enter you need to complete a very short survey.

Terms and conditions

1. This competition is open to the general public, students and staff of Cardiff University, with the exception of employees of the Continuing and Professional Education.

2. The winner will be announced on 11 May 2023.

3. The prize is an intensive language course from the summer 2023 provision and is not transferable.

4. To be eligible to win, you must live in the United Kingdom, be over 18 and complete the competition entry form before the survey closes.

5. On the day of the prize draw, a name and email address will be randomly selected from all entries. The winner of the prize will be contacted via email/telephone.

6. If a winner’s email address is unreachable or they fail to respond to Continuing and Professional Education within 7 days, Continuing and Professional Education the right to pick another winner from the received entries.

7. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Continuing and Professional Education reserves the right to disqualify an individual submitting multiple entries into the competition.

8. Continuing and Professional Education may ask winners to take part in non-paid publicity to promote the competition and the department, but agreement to do so is not a condition of winning. Queries regarding this prize draw should be submitted to learn@cardiff.ac.uk.
