We use large-scale record-linked healthcare datasets, such as the SAIL databank and Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), to answer a wide range of population health questions.

This includes epidemiological analyses of alcohol-related harm, adverse childhood experiences, and outcomes in specific health conditions such as type 1 diabetes and Down’s syndrome.

Our statistical methodological work is particularly focused on longitudinal data, (informatively) irregularly-collected data and causal inference.
