The Development and Alumni Relations Department seeks to increase philanthropic giving to, and strategic support for, the University.

We develop and promote a culture where alumni, students, staff, funders and other stakeholders value the impact and importance of the University and feel inspired to support it.

Our work covers:

• Development: we work with people, trusts, foundations and companies nationally and globally, to raise funds for research, student support, and facilities projects.
• Strategic partnerships: we collaborate with external organisations to support innovation, particularly the joint creation of new products, processes and policies.
• Alumni relations: we continue to support our ever-growing alumni network, creating opportunities for alumni to engage with and support the University.

We also maintain the University’s alumni database, ensuring information held about our graduates is accurate and secure.
