About the course
This one-day course follows on from the Microsoft Access: Designing and Creating Your Database course. You will learn:
- how information stored in a table, or a set of related tables, can be filtered
- how queries can be constructed and used to extract relevant records of information
- how to summarise information held in database tables.
The course covers:
- designing and creating filters and queries to extract subsets of data and summary information from one or more tables
- performing calculations and automated updates to information.
Prerequisites
- You must be familiar with the Microsoft Access interface and have an understanding of how information is stored in tables.
- To get the most out of this course you should also have practical experience of creating related database tables.
- It is advisable to attend the Microsoft Access: Designing and Creating Your Database course prior to booking onto this course.
