Studying abroad is an unforgettable experience, wherever you go.

Take a break from lectures with a swim in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Western Australia. Cycle through the cobbled streets of Nyhavn in the Danish Capital. Dine à la française in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Watch the sunset from Victoria Peak in Hong Kong. Carve up the slopes in the Swiss Alps.

Grab the opportunity to build on your university know-how with skills gained living and studying in another country.

Degrees with a language

Choose from French, Spanish or German as part of a four-year programme and spend year three at one of our partner institutions in France, Spain, Germany or Switzerland.

Open to all students studying a degree with a European Language, this is your chance to put advanced foreign language skills into practice while learning about European business cultures and economies.

Study abroad in English

Our international outlook means we’ve built partnerships with universities and business schools in Europe and beyond in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia, the USA and Canada.

These partnerships give you the chance to spend part of your degree studying in English without the need for advanced foreign language skills.

Open to all undergraduate students, you’ll transfer onto a four-year version of your degree programme and spend year three abroad.

If you’re studying our BSc Business Management (All routes) programmes, you might prefer to spend a semester abroad. On this scheme, you’d spend the spring semester of year two studying in English at a partner institution of your choice.

Summer placements

If you’d prefer to study, work or volunteer abroad during the summer break, our Global Opportunities Team organise short-term placements – for a minimum of four weeks – in locations all over the world. You can:

A range of funding sources and bursaries are available to help cover the costs of going abroad, making international placements more accessible for our undergraduate students.
