Our private cloud computing environment is made up of 200+ CPU cores, about 1 terabyte of shared memory and 10+ terabyte of storage.
This facility allows us to provide a high performance and high throughput computing pool, leveraging on the Condor and Torque frameworks. Our cloud computing environment also provides a deployment environment for web service based applications and provides the backbone for service deployment for many of our projects.
It provides fundamental computing support for large scale engineering modelling, simulation, optimisation and life cycle data storage. It is currently being utilised in many of our projects including:
- SportE2 - where it hosted the energy simulation and optimisation services
- WISDOM - where it stores and processes real-time water network data and hosts our water network optimisation services
- aC4C - where it provides services to store and federate object based BIM data.
